Our server was really funny and attentive to every detail of our orders. The service and atmosphere were excellent. The food was delicious as well. It’s an ideal spot for hosting out-of-town guests if you want a relaxed vibe. View all feedback.
What charlee harris doesn't like about Literary Tavern:
Food was excellent but the waitress was not attentive and wanted proof that I used the QR code to pay which defeats the purpose of using the QR code. She also never refilled our water (I wasn’t drinking alcohol so this was a major bummer)and snapped at us for wanting to order our food before drinks. Food was delicious but not enough to put up with poor service. View all feedback.
This is a very pleasant place to dine in Tremont, with pleasant ambiance and a good, well-rounded menu of nicely done dishes. Service was attentive.
Our first time at Literary and it was a great experience. We sat at the bar for dinner and got excellent service from the bartenders. Friendly staff, answering all of our questions and attentive overall. We watched them craft a range of wonderful cocktails which was pretty entertaining. There are some nice menu choices and the food didn’t disappoint. We will definitely be back. It will be in our regular lunch or dinner choice buckets.
The food was fantastic! We particularly enjoyed the Lit Burger and the cocktails. The back room was quite noisy—loud enough that we had to shout to hear our dinner companions—but everything else was wonderful!
We enjoyed fantastic food at this restaurant. The dessert was outstanding; we tried the blueberry waffle bread pudding and the flourless chocolate torte, both of which were delicious. The atmosphere was incredibly romantic, and the service was excellent.
I enjoyed every aspect of this restaurant, from the inventive cocktails to the excellent service and the delicious food.
