We just visited for the first time and we will definitely be returning. I've never had tikka masala this red before; it was absolutely stunning. And the flavor! Oh my goodness, I was truly impressed—it was delicious! There were big chunks of chicken in a creamy sauce that was incredibly flavorful. We absolutely loved it. As for the naan, it was unique; I think this might be one of the best I've ever had. View all feedback.
We placed our order in person on 4/12/22. The restaurant is clean someone was available to take our order right away. I ordered the Samosa (2) in an order, Biryani (I got chicken shrimp) garlic naan. All the food was hot, tasty, well seasoned great portions! The only thing I would change is the thickness of the sauces as mine were watery. Other than everything was great we will be returning! Thank you.
That said, I got the sense that their in-house dining experience isn’t quite as robust. Our table was in a pleasant area with charming, updated decor, but the use of paper plates, paper menus, and plastic cups – not to mention plastic water bottles – made my eco-conscious self cringe. It felt incongruous to be seated for a nice meal in such disposables. This is particularly surprising given that the food we ordered was some of the best Indian cuisine I’ve had in town. The naan and samosas were so delicious they could have easily made a full meal on their own, but the Rogan Josh featured tender lamb pieces that we simply couldn’t resist! Our Daal Tadka (yellow lentils) was also flavorful enough to stand alone. I’ve gotten food through Uber Eats from them before, and it was just as tasty, which shows the kitchen is definitely doing a great job. In these unusual times, I truly hope Indian Delight continues to thrive while refining their approach to to-go versus dine-in service. With such a fantastic renovation, they shouldn’t compromise their experience with subpar plating and cutlery.
Our amazing friend Anna took us all the way across town to an incredible Indian restaurant. The Goat Hakeem and Rogan Josh were outstanding, but their Tikka Masala was truly the best! I can't recommend it highly enough!
