Himalayan - Cleveland

We had a delightful evening at this restaurant. I had been wanting to try it before they closed, and I finally made it there. We went with another couple and ended up going a bit overboard with the amount of food we ordered. The chicken korma was absolutely delicious, and the momos were fantastic. I especially loved the fried chili momos, which were wonderfully spicy. There was also a dish that resembled a crunchy cracker ball that you break open and stuff with an onion and potato mixture—I highly recommend it! Our friends ordered four different entrees to enjoy the next day.

I frequently pass by this restaurant on my bike while heading downtown, and I finally decided to stop in. I had parked my bike next to a car and took the chance to eat here. To my surprise, I was the only customer at the time. The service was outstanding—very attentive and incredibly friendly. I tried the steamed pea momo (I've never tried goat before), and it was delicious, much more flavorful than ground beef! I also ordered garlic naan, which was absolutely fantastic.

Everything was delicious! The food was incredibly fresh and authentic—truly a hidden gem! I can't wait to return!

This restaurant offers authentic Indian Nepali food that's fresh, hot and delicious! The portions are generous, perfectly spiced and flavorful. Several vegetarian options are available. I highly recommend the Vegetable Pakora, Chicken 65, Momo and Sekuwa. I ordered our food to go by phone, but they do offer delivery, as well as a beautfully appointed dining room if you wish to dine-in. What a neighborhood jewel!
