The food was below average. Ginko is the sushi god restaurant of Cleveland, so this was really disappointing. They cooked the beef tenderloin passed well done. The sushi was fresh and very clean tasting but not unique in any way. The tamago came out with a weird grey tint but we still tasted it, and unfortunately, also not good. Like not edible not good. Great food and service. I wish it was a bit more cozy and decorated. Bland atmosphere.
Lots of variety on the menu...many options besides sushi.
The Salmon in clay fish was over cooked. The bok choy was chewy. The edamame was bland. The drinks were delicious. The staff is so friendly.
I had the pleasure of dining at Goma recently. What a wonderful dining experience. Impeccable service, outstanding food, lovely atmosphere! The miso soup was so good and the appetizers equally tasty! Fantastic sushi and rice dishes! I along with my family walked away quite satisfied. I will be back!
Overall the food and drink quality was not consistent and didn’t have the wow-factor I expected going in. The server was exceptional. But, as a long-time CLE area resident I would choose other places before going again, unfortunately.
