East Coast Custard is a staple of northeast Ohio. They have soft serve, concretes, shakes/malts, and several custard/yogurt options. It is usually pretty busy, but well worth the wait! You won't regret stopping by for ice cream at East Coast! View all feedback.
What Pamela koran doesn't like about East Coast Original Frozen Custard:
It was like soup in a cup ....all melted when we got them. Most of the Halloween one qas all whip cream for the big size. My husband has the tin roof and it was not that much better..really salty from the peanut. Probably won't be back. View all feedback.
My 84 year old Aunt took us here. It was my first ever visit to Cleveland and after driving through a part of the country where you can't spit without hitting a frozen custard joint so, I finally had to get my custard on. Limited selection of flavors that look like they change daily but, damn good frozen custard. Kudos to my Aunt. The kids working the counter were also super nice, patient, helpful and all deserve a raise. I mean hell, it's frozen custard what's not too like? BTW The chocolate tastes like chocolate, not like the NYC Ice Cream trucks where the chocolate just looks brown and tastes well, brown
Gosh, what took me so long to check this place out? The custard so rich and delicious and reasonably priced! Now that I know I have location close to me, I'm going to have to be careful so I don't gain too much weight! I got a double scoop of two of their special flavors of the day: lemon chiffon and peanut butter chocolate chip. I'm game for anything lemon so I loved the lemon chiffon and the chocolate chip pieces in the other one were massive and of good quality chocolate. It was about 3.50 for the double scoop.
Ice cream is always top notch as well as their toppings. Fair pricing and I love that I can buy their products in quart and half gallon sizes for home. Butter pecan is my favorite.
I'm so lucky to live so close to this place great custard great service must try . Homemade waffles cones
A busy little joint, so maybe my experience was a one-off. I ordered lemon and vanilla triple. My partner; a coffee something on a waffle cone. He loved his, I felt cheated. Not only was mine itty-bitty but it had nearly zilch flavor. I knew it was something because I got some vanilla in there which is stark white compared to whatever you would call the off-white of the lemon. From Philadelphia and grew up on Mr. Softee frozen custard and the Jersey shore versions and every carnival custard. So this was a bummer. I'd give it a 2 but my SO's was good. Next time? Oh and the little tight parking lot is kind of a nightmare. But everyone managed.
