Can never go wrong with Brewnuts! Donuts and beer?! Amazing!! The rotating menu is always exciting to check out. Obviously sometimes they have some they aren't to my liking but they clearly have no issues having something for everyone. Beer cocktails selections are always good too! What Passout doesn't like about Brewnuts:
During my visit, the restaurant offered four vegan donuts on their menu. I decided to try the vanilla frosted and dark chocolate frosted varieties, both of which were quite tasty. The donuts were impressively large in size. However, I found the almond milk latte to be just okay as it had a strong, over-roasted flavor. (Review updated on January 15, 2023) View all feedback.
I will actually travel from Pittsburgh just to eat the vegan donuts at Brewnuts
Unfortunately I arrived on the afternoon and from the two vegan options there was only one left. it was absolutely delicious. it is a very traditional type of donut, where it is fried and they can taste it, there was even a slight cripple to the outside. it was a bit too fat to handle for my ultra sensitive, but my partner was a great fan of taste and texture, very classic donut.
Brewnuts always has two vegan aromes that change every week or so. the doughnuts have fun smells and they taste amazing! I would like to see more vegan options. other than that, I definitely recommend!
My absolute favorite donuts! batter is amazing, aromen are always changing and they are both fun and tasty! would love more than 2 options, but very grateful for both.
They have regular 3 or so vegan options. always well and freshly made! can also snap a beer at the same time!
