Assad's Mediterranean Cuisine

This charming little grocery store restaurant is a great find. I picked up a few items from the grocery section and couldn't resist trying the shawarma combo, which was more than enough for three people. You really get a lot of food for the price! I also bought a bag of spinach pies, but I was disappointed because they were mostly dough and onions instead of spinach. I wouldn't get those again. I wanted to try some tabouli, but they were sold out, which likely means it’s popular and delicious! Overall, I enjoyed my meal and will definitely be returning!

I had a wonderful visit to Assad Mediterranean today! The food was incredibly delicious, especially the fresh Kefta kebab served with rice, salad, and a variety of sauces. The garlic sauce was very garlicky, but it complemented the rice and kebab perfectly. They also have an impressive selection of traditional desserts, snacks, frozen foods, and groceries. Just a heads up, parking can be a bit tricky. The staff was fantastic and attentive to their customers. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

The food is consistently amazing! Every time I pass through Cleveland, I make a detour just to stop and eat here. I typically enjoy hot and sour soup after a long drive, but I can't resist the baba ganoush in the meantime. And don’t get me started on the spicy shawarma—it's fantastic!

I ordered the rice and lentils with hummus and grape leaves, and everything was absolutely delicious! The hummus was likely the best I've ever had. Food: 5/5.

I visited this store to buy some camel milk, as it was the closest place where I could find it available in person. While I was there, I explored a bit and ended up picking up a few other items. Overall, it's a great store!
