Anything Not Hipster - Cleveland

I had a wonderful experience on a quiet Wednesday night at this restaurant, thanks to its lovely atmosphere, delicious drinks, and exceptional staff. I think I chose the perfect time to visit, as I got the chance to chat with the bartenders, which was a delight. They were incredibly friendly and enjoyable to talk to, and they had a wealth of knowledge about their drinks and tiki culture. For my first drink, I tried the Saturn to sample their falernum and orgeat, and it was fantastic—not too sweet and really highlighted the ingredients. My second drink, the Pink Flamingo, was a delightful twist on a classic colada. And the ambiance! It’s absolutely wonderful—moody and vibrant, just how a tiki bar should be. If I lived in the city, I would definitely become a regular here.

During my visit from out of state, I decided to stop by this restaurant, and it certainly did not disappoint. The bar is beautifully decorated in the classic tiki style, and both the drinks and food were outstanding. The entire bar staff was friendly and attentive, and they were more than happy to engage in conversation about my favorite tiki topics, like recipe books and their process for making orgeat. Porco's was definitely the highlight of my trip to Cleveland. The only thing I wished for was their own signature mugs—I like to collect one from every tiki bar I visit. However, I made do with a Mai Tai glass instead.

The snack menu is also quite good. The tofu received great reviews, and we devoured at least four orders of fries between us. I particularly enjoyed the shrimp tempura tacos, which featured fluffy flour tortillas and large, crispy shrimp. It was pleasantly warm enough to sit by the fire pits for a while, and I can't wait to return this summer!

During my recent trip to Cleveland, I decided to check out Porco after hearing great things about its tiki bar, and it certainly lived up to the hype. I arrived around happy hour on a Friday and was lucky enough to snag a seat at the bar. The bartender was attentive and made sure I was well taken care of throughout my visit. I enjoyed a few cocktails, a rum flight, and some delicious food—everything was exceptional. I might have lingered a bit longer than I intended, but I truly relished every moment. The drinks, food, and service were all outstanding. This place is definitely at the top of my list for my next visit to Cleveland.

Cocktails! The atmosphere, the staff, the owner—everything about this place is incredible! The cocktails are unique and creative! And those burger sliders? Absolutely a must-try! You definitely need something to complement a great zombie cocktail.
