Great food. Warm environment. Parking lot is brutal, but any experienced Clevelander can navigate pot holes. Food stayed warm and was delectable when I got home. Chicken was juicy and crispy all in the same bite. Definitely a Must for anyone looking forgreat local food View all feedback.
What Samantha Williams doesn't like about Angie's Soul Cafe:
Great flavor on the wings. Mac was tasty. Unfortunately, the green beans were overcooked and not seasoned well, nor was the chicken breast. They have did a nice job on the interior. Service wasn't really a factor, adequate. View all feedback.

I had a terrible experience with my first order from this restaurant. I tried the smothered pork chop dinner, which came with black-eyed peas over rice and collard greens. The black-eyed peas and rice tasted like they had been sitting out all night, and the collard greens were completely bland. The gravy for the pork chop was so congealed it seemed like it came from a cheap packet. However, my boyfriend's meal wasn't too bad, so when he suggested we order again, I reluctantly agreed. I never expected it could actually get worse. The only redeemable item was the chicken wings. The waffle was both soggy and burnt—not just overcooked, but a complete disaster. It was inexcusable for anyone to package that for delivery. The mac and cheese tasted like burnt plastic! It's shameful to serve food of such poor quality. I wish I had saved my $25 instead of wasting it on this awful meal!
The food is fantastic, and the atmosphere is inviting. The parking situation is challenging, but any seasoned Clevelander knows how to handle the potholes. The food remained warm and delicious by the time I got home. The chicken was both juicy and crispy in every bite. It's definitely a must-visit for anyone in search of great local cuisine!
I drove from Lyndhurst here, thinking the food would be good. This is nothing more than a hole in the wall with loud and ignorant workers. The guy at the front was begging for tips, but is serving garbage food that barely can be eaten. The macand cheese is disgusting and the chicken is hard and old.
The selection was freshly made to order, and the prices were reasonable for the quality of the food. Additionally, the staff was very friendly and accommodating.
