First stayed here ten years ago when the rooms were very simple but compensated for by magnificent setting and excellent restaurant. Rooms now renovated and first class also. A magnificent spot to explore the Loire valley from, as an overnight stop to the Pyrenees or for a gourmet weekend. View all feedback.
Over-priced and rude service. The dinner served was not sufficient for a five year old. The village is small, so no competition.
We stayed overnight, en route to further south in France. We were tired after a difficult journey so it was good to be made welcome when we arrived. The room was not large, but was clean and comfortable, with fine en suite facilities. The evening meal was a gourmet's delight, sat outside in the early evening. Onsite parking is ample. Watch out for the fact that access in the afternoon is not available until 16:30. Breakfast was enjoyable and we were on our way in the morning with no trouble.
Decent enough food, but not gourmet or challenging, menu seemed to be pushing the cheese course quite hard, the desserts are a bit indifferent
Promoted as a gastronomic restaurant, we found that the cheaper meals offered better value and more enjoyable eating than the higher price set menu.
Very good relation quality price, warm welcome, 2 beautiful rustic rooms with contemporary décor with enough space between the tables. beautiful presentations on the plates, and very pleasant meals.
