Who ever is hiring all the new staff needs to be replaced. Over the past couple of weeks they hired a ton of new people and they are terrible. Go to this Starbucks daily, but after today not anymore. Everyday over the past couple of weeks it seems it has taken longer for a drink to be made. 20 minutes at minum. We called for breakfast a few times during a recent stay in the area, and the food and drinks were always good. Service was reasonable but sometimes it could be a little on the slow side if busy, and the drive thru can backup at peak times. Perhaps it's normal in the US now but to ask for tips in a drive thru also seems a bit excessive to me.
