This place is amazing! I highly recommend this local Irish pub. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfectly pub. Even with a skeleton crew, this team managed to wait on a full restaurant as well as the bar. We had the gravy fries with beef and the blarney stones along with perfectly poured Guinness. Slàinte! Price per person: $20–30 View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Devenney's Irish Pub:
Lousy excuse for an Irish pub. The only authentic thing about it was the manager was from Ireland, I think. Floors sticky everywhere, soggy food that was obviously frozen, stale beer, disgusting bathrooms, and way too much more to even list. I'm not surprised that he was forced to close down. Too bad i can't give 0 stars. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 View all feedback.
Hello everyone! It’s Sue and Jim here, sharing our thoughts on Devenney's Irish Pub. We look forward to visiting this place every year during our stay at Highgrove. Throughout the years, we've consistently experienced friendly and welcoming staff, along with excellent service. Every meal we've enjoyed there has been fantastic, especially their famous 2-for-1 Fish and Chips deal every Friday, which tends to draw quite a crowd. You definitely don't want to miss it! They also serve a great pint of Guinness. Our favorite time to visit is on Sundays when Dubliner Johnny Snaggs, a former Riverdance musician, entertains the crowd with his guitar and bodhran, singing countless Irish songs. It’s a wonderful experience where everyone joins in, creating an incredible atmosphere. We can't wait to return and see Johnny and everyone else again in March 2020, especially since this year we’ll be celebrating St. Patrick's Day on the 17th! Sláinte!
The menu could benefit from having prices displayed. The food was outstanding! Cost per person: $1–10. Food rating: 5, Service rating: 4, Atmosphere rating: 5. Recommended dishes include the Irish Beer and Wings. Parking is abundant, with plenty of free parking available.
I'm writing this from the bar right now, and I have to say, you need to order the Blarney Stones—it's a must! After that, go for the Reuben; it's hands down the best you'll ever taste. Don't forget to give Jay a generous tip—he's an excellent bartender and super fast with drinks. I think I've just discovered my new favorite local spot! Price per person: $30–50. Food: 5.
I want to start by saying that I didn’t try the food, so this review focuses on the service and the bar. I highly recommend this bar for a relaxing drink—10 out of 10! Danny was exceptionally polite and attentive, and the waitstaff were incredibly friendly. The owner was present for an Irish Wolfhound meetup, and he was very down-to-earth and kind. Although it’s a cozy little place, I definitely plan to return soon. I felt very welcomed and will continue to support them.
