Was Christine Bayer at Rick Erwin's Clemson a mag?
Our fav Clemson “tailgate spot”. The weather is always perfect inside Rick Erwin’s and it’s the perfect place to kick off (pun intended) with awesome food and drinks before game time!! View all feedback.
What Mark S dislikes about Rick Erwin's Clemson:
Great service but the food was inconsistent. We had steaks: my ribeye was tasty but was too fatty, nearly gristly … and at that price? My spouse ordered a medium well filet, which was mushy pink on the inside. Mushrooms and bread were outstanding, but I can’t recommend the Mac and Cheese. Grilled asparagus was good as was the Black Forest cake, which was really a double chocolate cake. They have an extensive but expe... View all feedback.

Great experience overall. Enjoyed the food and service
Excellent food and exceptional service! Will happily return
Food was amazing and the service was spectacular. We we’re celebrating our 1st year wedding anniversary and we had a wonderful time. Thank you!
Food and ambience were outstanding. The real highlight of the evening was Mei Ling who was our awesome server!! Her caring personality and attention to detail were superb. We always use Rick Erwins for special occasions and visiting friends and family. We will be asking for Mei Ling on our next visit.
Once again we had May as our server. She is one of a kind. Amazing from beginning to the end. She attended to our every need like we were her only table. The staff is great. The food is good and the manager Eric was very kind. I highly recommend RE when you visit Clemson! Never disappoints! Kudos all!

The service was amazing. Everyone was attentive and very professional. The food was excellent as it should be). The only problem I had was that I called and made a reservation for a booth so my wife and I could have at least a little bit of privacy. We had just eloped that day) When we got there I checked in at the host stand and then we went to the bar. We had 7pm reservations. They never even came to the bar to get us. Finally around an hour later, I had to go and ask about our table. The restaurant has gotten busy and there was no booth available. There were several open when we got there. They sat us in the middle of the dining room at a tiny table sandwiched in between two other tables that were already eating. The manager was very professional and offered to pay for our appetizer. The server was very apologetic. As was the rest of the staff. Even though I didn't make a big deal out of it. That was very nice of them but that wasn't the experience I wanted to pay $400 for. Have no problem w the bill. I expected to spend that kind of money. I can't help but feel like it wasn't what I paid for.
Rick Erwin’s excels on all levels: food is excellent, ambiance is excellent, and the service is the best! The servers and staff are polite and attentive. We had my daughter’s graduation dinner here, and it was beyond perfection! I highly recommend! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
My wife and I decided to celebrate our anniversary here, and I’m happy to say that Rick Erwin’s did not disappoint. The food was phenomenal, but what really made the experience special was our waitress, Mei. Mei’s attentive, timely, and personable service ensured that our night was everything we had hoped for. We will certainly be coming back, and I can only hope that we will be sat in her section again! Service: Dine in
It was Christmas Eve and our reservation was 8:30, but after seating us no server came by after waiting a while so we inquired, oops they messed up. The manager Eric Holton came to the table and apologized and personally saw to our table and made sure we had an outstanding dinner, which we did. The food was excellent and we really enjoyed the evening and dining, thank you Eric! Excellent job and management. We will return!! Service: Dine in
Celebrated a birthday at this upscale, a la cart steakhouse. Our filets, NY strip and bison were cooked as requested and very tender and flavorful. A memorable evening. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100

I visited this restaurant while traveling from out of state. The bread was excellent, but the red snapper didn't meet my expectations, and the shrimp was overcooked. However, the ambiance was beautiful and the service was fantastic—very elegant all around. I would definitely like to return. The hospitality was great!
Fantastic dinner! Everyone enjoyed their meals. We were with our picky kids, and thankfully, everyone found something they liked. My steak and lobster were cooked to perfection. Our waiter, James, was incredibly polite and attentive, providing the best service we've had in a long time. We can't wait to come back soon!
Everything was excellent and upscale. My only negative point would be the price. If you can't afford it, it's best to skip this place. Expect to spend at least $50 per person, and with drinks and dessert, it could go up to around $100 per person.
Service and food were top notch. Great atmosphere. The drinks, wine, steak, sides and dessert were all delicious! Also enjoyed the background music! You had a great birthday card for my father who was signed by the staff, which was a great note.
My girlfriends and I are celebrating a bachelorette at Lake Keowee over the Fourth of July weekend and searched for a fine dining restaurant for a nice night out. We made a reservation at Rick Erwin?s Clemson and we are so pleased with our choice! One of our girls had to cancel last minute but called the restaurant to order a bottle of champagne for us. When we arrived, they had the bottle chilled and waiting for us at our table. From the moment we sat down, we knew we were in for a treat! Every dish we ordered was amazing and perfectly cooked. But what made our experience even better was the service! We had Luke as our server and he was just an absolute doll. He made excellent food and drink suggestions and took such great care of us the entire evening. There was a wedding going on in another part of the restaurant while we were there and we would not have known if we hadn?t seen them going in because it didn?t affect the quality of the food or service at all. This was the best dinner experience we could have asked for to celebrate our bride. We even got to have a quick chat with Rick Erwin! If you?re ever in upstate South Carolina, do yourself a favor and go to this restaurant and ask for Luke! We can?t wait to come back!

Everything was great and top shelf. My only negative thing would be price. Don't go if you can't afford it. You're going to spend at least $50+ per person or with drinks and dessert count on $100 each.
