The burgers are so full that the Cook has to stab a knife through them to pin them to the wooden board that they are served on. Top Tip: Don't annoy the Cook!
It has been years between visits and it has not improved. This time, I only had a hot chocolate (which was cool to tepid), and my partner had a coffee, and a ham and cheese croissant. We had to ask for the croissant twice. The coffee and chocolate were very slow in coming, but did come without reminders to the staff. The café was not busy: there was one table of 10 that already had their food or drinks and were "wrapping up" and one other table with one person. There were a couple of take away people while we were there. I counted 4 staff; there may have been more behind the scenes. So all up; poor service and ordinary food.
