Overall the staff were friendly, beers were... read more We found this pub by accident, it’s tucked away down by the railway station and we only had a couple of beers here. Overall the staff were friendly, beers were good and we’d definitely visit the place again if we were back in the area. We heard good things about the Sunday dinner here but, unfortunately, we weren’t local for long enough to sample the Sunday delights. We will definitely visit this pub again and would look to eat next time.

As I placed my order, a young child around 3 years old was seated next to me at the bar, while a group of three older men stood nearby, loudly swearing and engaging in obscene conversation. I was more annoyed than offended by the constant use of expletives, but the fact that they couldn't even control themselves in the presence of a young child made me realize this was not the type of establishment I wanted to frequent.
