Purple Turnip - Cleburne

The main dining room does feel a bit dated, but overall, I had a wonderful first visit. The portion sizes looked impressive all around, the staff was friendly, and I felt the food was a good value with quick service. While the restaurant could benefit from a refresh in decor and a little enhancement in flavor, there isn't much competition in the city, so they have an opportunity to create a more unique customer experience. I’m definitely coming back, especially since I want to try the desserts—their appeal seems to stand out the most!

This restaurant is fantastic! I was served quickly, and the most recent dish I tried was the Salmon Burger, which was delicious. The fruit is always fresh, and the atmosphere is beautiful. Thank you for the amazing food and excellent service!

We were looking for a lunch spot while we waited for a prescription at the nearby CVS, and The Purple Turnip turned out to be the ideal choice! The food was fresh and delicious, with generous portions. I enjoyed the tomato and mushroom spinach quiche accompanied by fresh fruit, while my husband opted for the chicken salad along with a half quiche and chicken soup. Everything was great!

Very nice little feeling. A little high, but it does with atmosphere. Try it at least once.

Nice place sweet people .. enjoyed visit .. Good food ..Interesting menu ..priced about same as most !
