Sekushi At The Plaza - Clearwater

I usually don’t write reviews but this was a complete let down. The udon with wagu beef tasted like pot roast gravy, the fried rice was a joke absolutely no flavor and the pour raw egg in the skillet as they present it to u which I thought was weird… sushi was ok.. the only thing that was good was the edamame. I took 2 bites of everything was disgusted! PThey need to rethink their menu and flavors big time. Wanted to speak to the manager but my waiter disappeared.

Sat on the balcony. Great food. The waitress seemed to have many tables, so the balcony was perhaps somewhat neglected. Question.

We were so excited to try this place. We got the surf and turf roll. The wagyu was chewy and, overall not worth the money. We ordered a second roll and waited 50 minutes for it to arrive. The server didn't check on us during that time and the restaurant was practically empty. Never going back and would not recommend. If you want amazing sushi try Osaka in Seminole.

This newer Restaurant was AWFUL! They have another location in Clearwater Beach which we go to regularly which we really like a lot enjoy! It felt like eating in a Cafeteria! Service was awful it felt like none of their servers had been properly trained!!! Also the food quality was mediocre to poor portions extremely small especially for the “high” price. We would never go there again or recommend this Restaurant!

Service was very attentive. Food was good, but heavily sauced to make up for lack of protein. Miso soup got high reviews as did the pork dumplings. But, the sushi rolls were mostly sauces and rice with not enough fish in our opinion. Meal was decent, but don't think we'll go back again. Preferred SeaWeed around corner to this. Maybe noodle dishes are better. Much better sushi places around. So, when I say I wouldn't recommend to a friend, I'd say that for the sushi.
