The cashier was very friendly, and the service was quick, but for $15, the quality of the food was disappointing. A lot of the lettuce in my salad was slimy and unappetizing, and it was soaked in dressing. I'm not sure what's in the tuna salad now, but it tasted overwhelmingly of vinegar. Not enjoyable at all. On the bright side, the charged lemonade was tasty.
I have visited this restaurant numerous times, and the food is consistently outstanding. However, for those with gluten allergies, the choices are somewhat limited (mostly salads and soups), so I would advise caution. Overall, I highly recommend it, but it may not be the best choice for individuals with allergies.
The food at Panera is consistently fresh and tasty, but the prices are quite high. I could easily go to Pickles Plus for a meal that is both cheaper and just as good, if not better. I ordered a half sandwich, a cup of soup, and a drink, and it ended up costing me over $12 at Panera—not including any tips.
I 've given this place a try twice now and it becomes more and more of a joke every time. The You Pick 2 is super deceiving because you think you 're picking two items for that price. But, they really just take off a dollar or under from each individualpriced item. Got the steak and white cheddar sandwich which was not only DISGUSTING.. but had absolutely no meat and was smallerthan my hand all for $7.20. The mac n cheese which I usually love was completely overcooked and mush. If you took off Panera 'ssign and just stuck expensive hospital food on the outside I think it would be more fitting. The male cashier that 's beenthere twice has the worst customer service I 've ever experienced. Mumbles, no eye contact, and ignores questions. Belongs in theback washing dishes alone.
The food at Panera Bread is still delicious. My husband and I always order their Broccoli and Cheese soup from the menu. However, we were disappointed to discover that they have switched from metal spoons to plastic ones. While many places are moving toward being plastic-free, Panera has decided to use plastic utensils. Seriously? I refuse to use plastic, so I asked the staff if I could have a metal spoon, but they said no. This was especially disheartening since I chose Panera Bread to celebrate my birthday.
