First Watch - Clearwater

I don't like leaving negative reviews, so after eating hear for years and trying the new dinner across the street. First watch deserves 5 stars. Sorry it took so long. I won't leave the place across the street a negative review. But first watch deserves 5 stars hands down after seeing what else is out there.

The food is as always up to my expectations. The server was lousy. She came to our table twice to see if we were ready to order. Since we had a special needs young adult with us we were not. It takes our special needs person a little longer to decide. And it was OBVIOUS that this individual is special needs. The server finally manages to take our order. We then waited 1/2 an hour for our food. This server took orders for other customers who came in after us and received their food order a lot sooner than we received ours. And the only reason we received our is because I had to summon another server for assistance. Should I bother to go to this location again, I will most certainly ask to be seated in specific server's table area. And this is the 4th time this server has been lousy in her service to us. So I'd say 4 chances to make up for it is enough. This server's loss. Sadly. Response to Hanna: no Hanna this is not on you. Yes I get the customer service part but this is on this server (and I do not wish to disclose who it is). There are two additional servers by whom I have been served before repeatedly and with both I have been happy. Those two I will consistently request when I (or we) come in. If neither of them are working that day, we will go elsewhere and come back another time. That's just the principle of my stubbornness. At present I am still recovering from the disappointment that our last server did not clue in after 4 times all four times I made it clear to this server what was lacking each time. I was actually nice about it each time. Neither here nor there. I/we will be back eventually.

We were there on 3/12 and I ordered the Elevated Egg- very good. Sierra, was very friendly. The menu has a great selection. We waited 25 minutes to sit but there were plenty of shops around to visit while we waited. Busy but worth the wait. Looking forward to visiting again to try another menu item.

Service was great. Food came out quickly. The iced coffee is very good!

Stopped in to get my mail of the day. ordered a few different things off of the menu just to get a sample of what their food tastes like. Our waitress was very nice. She was very attentive and we had a little issue that they got rectified quickly. Ordered a nice crispy waffle that tastes very good. Had a veggie burger which was tasteful and I had no complaints about the overall taste of the dish. The egg dish came out really good also.
