Dunedin Vegan Deli - Clearwater

I enjoyed my experience at this location. The food was good. There are plenty of vegan options!! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the products that they serve. Michael was awesome in providing recommendations and with his service! Thank you. I will definitely visit again!

Only get the Cuban which I'd give a 10. We had the Italian and it's reminds me of a roast beef sandwich (pre vegan days) the Italian only had tomato, onion, Mayo on it. It was bland, it needed oil/vinegar, salt/pepper, lettuce, I'd rate Italian a 6. Vegan is hard in Clearwater but trust, just get the Cuban.

I used to be obsessed with the Dunedin Vegan Deli. I 've been buying from them once or twice a week for the last year, but lately the quality overall hasn 't been great. I recently submitted an online order from their website. The order did not submit successfully for some unknown reason, yet I was still charged. When I called the store to ask if the order had gone through, they confirmed that it hadn 't but didn 't have any explanation for the charge, or any explanation as to when it 'd be refunded. There was no manager working that day, and I didn 't receive a call back for the issue until several days later, at which point I 'd already gotten the issue resolved with my bank on my own. Last night, I called asking if they offered delivery. They responded by saying I could use DoorDash to order, or GrubHub. I downloaded DoorDash, created an account, but there was no option to order from the Deli. I searched every possible name combination, but nothing came up. I called back and they said they weren 't sure why that was, and literally said, Sorry, I don 't know how to help you . Again, no manager on duty, despite it being a Saturday night. So I used GrubHub to place my order instead, and the food was just not the quality it used to be. The last several times I 've been there, I 've noticed a decrease in the food quality preparation, and they 've even added an extra charge for inflation but never disclosed this. I was simply charged extra without explanation. For what I 'm paying for the food, it just feels very overpriced for something that can be made at home. The convenience just isn 't worth it.

Delicious vegan food! Quick feedback to the waiters if you charge the customer for those small salad containers, make sure to put them in the bag. I had to remind them the first time, and forgot the second time (two orders, 30 mins apart). Wasn't around to be able to go back to pick those up.

Great little Vegan deli. The owner was super friendly and really focuses on healthy and fresh food. I loved hearing about his creative flare for new dish ideas and what has and has not worked for him in the past. It was great to get tips for cooking at home. The one opportunity I think they have to grow to the next level will be to have more diversity with their shelves. I would love to see more products to choose from however I know that takes time and they have to balance the shelf life against the desire to have a ton of choices. I will definitely be back. The cheese steak was awesome and the BBQ sandwich had tons of flavor. Hate to say it but the Mac and cheese could use just a bit of tweaking to be creamier. In the end I hope you go and enjoy as much as we did.
