What Countess doesn't like about Country Skillet East:
Ordered Uber Eats. I usually eat here all the time when I don't want to cook on Sundays. However, I do not know who is cooking this morning but they obviously are having a horrible day. Home Fries is 75% potatoe skin. Burnt. Shrimp and Grits does not have extra shrimp like requested. Actually there is barely any shrimp in the bowl. Looking at other photos. I was definitely skimped.. Perfect spot! I met up with friends here....a good 1/2 way between Tarpon Springs and St. Pete. They do offer breakfast, lunch from a wide-ranging menu with Specials every day. Opens early which is why we chose here. They also offer cappuccino, expresso. Our server was awesome, letting us catch us and gab without pressuring anyone. We'll meet up here again! The French Toast was scrumptious as well as the Belgian Waffle
I recently ate at Country Skillet and loved it! The food was tasty and felt like a home-cooked meal. The place was cozy and the staff were really nice and helpful. I recommend it if you want a good, filling meal.
We went for breakfast after Church service. I had pancakes with crispy bacon and home fries. Loved the pancakes, bacon could have been a wee bit crispier, but that's just me, but I didn't like the home fries. Coffee was superb. I have been coming here for 20+ years and as long as I continue to receive good service and the food continues to be good, I will keep coming back.
We had a great time at the country skillet restaurant!!!
