I discovered this bakery at the Indie Market, and I was really impressed! The breakfast roll I tried was fantastic. I also ended up purchasing a loaf of Ezekiel bread and some gingerbread, which, by the way, is the best gingerbread loaf I've ever had. I'm definitely planning to return for more and I'm excited to sample all the other treats they offer!
I absolutely adore this place! It's like a hidden gem in the neighborhood. They could really profit from bottling the amazing aromas!
I took the pizza-making class and learned the dos and don'ts of two different types of pizza dough. I had a fantastic time and picked up some great tips from Marni. We were provided with all the toppings to use on our pizzas, and I have to say, when the pies came out of the oven, they were incredible! Thank you once again, 20 Shekels, for another outstanding class! You truly excel in the bakery world!
Everything is made with love and care (and amazing, fresh ingredients)! Today I tried a Spiced Peach/Almond muffin that was outta this world. And the only bread we eat now is their Ezekiel bread. Makes amazing sandwiches (especially toasted). I highly recommend 20 Shekels!
Ok I giving my full review as , I came in yesterday to buy the Brick Oven loaf but ended up buying the Apple Loaf, OMG! We used it for french toast and it was seriously the best I have ever had! I ate the last 2 pieces this morning and smeared them with cream cheese and was sad knowing it was gone! Anyway I'm in love with all of the yumminess at your shop! Thanks and I still have the caramel loaf to try. So happy to have your yummy bread and it's local!!!
