As some others have said it is quite expensive for what you get. However this cafe is the last eating place at the end of Clearwater Valley Road, we were very grateful it was there! The tea/coffee is self serve. We both had the soup of the day which was very tasty and served in a large bowl. The cafe is clean.Like I said its at the end of the dirt road with no other cafes around so we can appreciate the higher price.... View all feedback.

Don't expect cheap eats here. Quality is average prices too high. $ 15 for a chili con carne with a garlic bun. You get a small portion of (must be) canned chili and half a toasted ciabatta with garlic butter. The tea was $3,50 and they wanted to charge $2,00 for using wireless internet. I know that it is not very cheap to get food here and hence the higher prices. We assumed this up front so we took that hit. Only t... View all feedback.
Enjoying a beautiful view of the lake from the deck, observing the osprey, having a delicious cake and coffee, and engaging in conversation with a musician from Belgium made for a delightful morning.
This cozy cabin at the end of the road offers delicious snacks, oven-baked pizza, and outdoor seating with a lovely view of the lake. The staff is very friendly.
The restaurant is in a beautiful location, but the prices are too high. It's understandable that it's in a remote area, but $17 for a bowl of chili is too much. A more reasonable price would be around $12. We tried to order a pizza but were told we would need to pre-order and wait a long time for it to be ready. It would be helpful if they gave a specific time frame, like saying it will be ready in 30 minutes so customers can explore and come back. I'm not sure if I would go back due to the high prices, but I do appreciate the experience. Note to visitors: The road from Helmcken Falls to Clearwater Lake is a gravel road with lots of potholes, so be prepared for a bumpy ride.
Came on a visit as we were on a family vacation to Wells Grey. I do have to preface this with the fact that we came because of the previous reviews. Upon arrival, there was no signage to be seen; instead, it was the Clearwater Lake Tours office. So FYI, there is no separate Osprey Cafe establishment. Confusion (and expectations aside), the staff were extremely friendly and the food was great for being the last establishment for food in Wells Grey Park. Family ordered 3 breakfasts and 1 beef sandwich. Portions were good and yes, somewhat pricey but hey, its decent for being where we are. Also, the view of the lake and Osprey Falls were great!
We found this cafe after a long drive up to Clearwater Lake on a wet and murky day. We each ordered hot chocolate and it was absolutely wonderful. I don't normally drink this but I was so glad I'd ordered it. As a bonus the music was great. All this and then the sun came out! Well worth a visit if you are in the park.
