Wasatch Wok in Clearfield, Utah, delivers bold, creative Thai (and solid Chinese) dishes — standout Pad Thai, Panang, Mandarin and General Tso’s — with large portions, attentive service, and a clean, relaxed dining room popular with families, couples, work groups and solo diners. Convenient phone ordering and takeout complement knowledgeable staff. A few dishes lean overly sweet and egg rolls are ordinary; there are isolated reports of food-safety issues, though many patrons praise the flavorful, consistently prompt service.
Everything tasted great and the customer service was top notch. Sunday open (y). The Calamari was perfectly cooked.
Our favorite Thai restaurant ever! When we get together as a family this is where we love to go. We lived in the Caribbean for 6 years and never found anything to equal this. We have lived in New York for nearly 2 years and have been to many authentic Thai restaurants, where the Thai people here go. However, NONE of them come close to Wasatch Wok in Clearfield, UT (formerly Five Star in Roy. There is still a Five Star in Roy but different chef. And believe me, it is the chef you want to follow, not the building or name!
This place is great, great place to lunch away from the office, either with coworkers, friends or alone for some peace wuiet
