Argentine Corner
Description
Nestled in the heart of Utah, this restaurant presents a mixed bag of experiences that leave patrons divided. While some rave about the authentic Argentine flavors, particularly praising the empanadas and homemade dishes, others express disappointment over pre-made food and sluggish service. The ambiance is lauded as lovely, yet consistent service issues mar the dining experience. Patrons note the potential for greatness if management addresses these shortcomings. Overall, this establishment seems caught between culinary promise and execution problems, eliciting both devoted fans and critical detractors. I have a deep appreciation for Argentine cuisine. After living in Argentina for a few years, I can say that this restaurant perfectly captures the essence of rural Argentina. The homemade taste of the food brought back memories. We enjoyed trying a variety of empanadas, all delicious. The choripan, particularly the bread it was served on, was exceptional. The ñoquis were incredibly tender and the milanesa sandwich was a standout dish. Despite arriving just before closing, the staff still provided excellent service. Overall, the experience was fantastic.
The food is amazing. The best empanadas you will find in Ut, and the fugazzetta is an amazing! Anytime we are passing through we are stopping. All the food is from scratch and the service is friendly.
It feels like stepping back into Argentina! The food is genuine Argentine cuisine, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is fantastic. I'm eagerly anticipating the opening of their new location.
The food was amazing! But the customer service is lacking just a little bit. Since there is a language barrier the servers should make sure that they are hearing things correctly. When she asked us what we would like to drink , we said water. We didn't say bottled water. We had to pay for our water. Never been to a restaurant where that happened. I asked her do you guys have glasses for water she said yes. Then why did we get the bottled water? Never got an answer because she didn't understand english. I totally understand there can be problems with understanding each other but at least have a translator there if you're hiring authentically Argentine. My mother was here visiting here for a week from another country so she wanted to treat us and she was not happy with the amount of water she had to purchase when all she asked for was water to drink.
