While it's not particularly fancy, the food is absolutely delicious, and the service is warm and welcoming. It's a convenient spot for lunch after a day of skiing at Whitetail, and the menu has a great selection to choose from.

The meat lacked any seasoning, spices, or even salt. However, the elderly gentleman who both cooked and served us was charming and friendly. The potatoes did not seem fresh. If you enjoy adventurous, family-owned traditional meals, this place might be worth a try; otherwise, it may not suit your taste.

The chicken is clearly hand-breaded to order, and the older gentleman who served us was wonderful. The burger looked freshly made, though I didn’t try it. The coleslaw is also delicious. I’m not sure why there are any 1-star reviews.

Having grown up eating hot meat sandwiches with ma... read more Excellent food at great prices! We often travel this route, and this was our first time dining at Windy Hill. Having grown up eating hot meat sandwiches with mashed potatoes and gravy, we were thrilled not to be disappointed. We ordered both the turkey and roast beef sandwiches, swapped the fries for mashed potatoes, and kept the coleslaw. Everything tasted fantastic!
