ChurroCafe - CLEAR ISLAND WATERS

Happened to be in the Carrara Market and spotted the Uruguay and Argentine flags at this Churrocafe restaurant . Having lived in Montevideo for a couple of years I was keen to see if they had any real food. And they DID!! I purchased some empanadas, alfajores, and sweet dulce de leche; and then a 1/2 kilo of real chorizo. And some chimmi churri to go. Great service, great friendly people. If you are Uy or Arg or just want to try authenticate southern South American comida - this is the place. And they have yerba mate' as well. Thanks - and will be back in again.

The food and the service is great. A good way to relax while at the markets. While u are eating the spanish music is going on.

Loved it! Great service with a cool vibe and Amazing South American food. A great meal on a Sunday afternoon before a Siesta!

First time visitor and eater, staff were pleasant and helpful. Food was served quickly, tasted great and left you wanting more (serving size was perfect). Will come again. Cheers

We often visit because the churros are the best anywhere. The other meals are really tasty. I also love the coffee. This is one of our favourite places on the coast.
