The Blacksmiths, Clayworth

We cannot highly recommend this pub. The service was excellent and the newly renovated spaces created a beautiful atmosphere. The pub is small but cozy, and there was a high tea event happening while we were there, but it did not affect our experience at all. The manager was very attentive and the chef even sent out a complimentary vegan petit four that was delicious. The vegan menu was fantastic with a wide variety of options. The watermelon salad starter was delicious, as was the spelt risotto. The texture and flavor of the risotto were amazing, making it a great alternative to boring white rice.

This is an excellent rural pub located in Clayworth, just a 15-minute drive from Retford or Bawtry. It embodies a charming, traditional atmosphere that has been successfully updated to a more contemporary style.

This was our first visit to Blacksmiths at Clayworth. I would definately visit this fantastic resturant again and reccommend it to all my friends. The food was exceptional and the service complimented this. Superiour night with my partner on a date night. I am looking forward to booking again in the resturant. Thank you to all the staff for such a lovely evening x
