I swore that I had published an evaluation here before, but they don't see. This is one of our places in Savannah. We visit at least 4 times a year. The staff is always fantastic and the service is great. Food is always consistent and great taste. The only proposal is a full French dip and a deeper, richer Au Jus. I usually have a hard time with menus to find what I like and this place is always simple and I have tried so many of their dishes. Great choice for every day or reason family, couple, just a drink at the bar.
Fantastic, friendly and fast! Our waitress Elyssa was great! We ordered the Calamari as an appetizer, it was good, but slightly salty. For a duck I had the Cajun Tortellini and it was AMAZING! Packed full of taste. The shrimps were perfectly cooked like the scallops. My egg had the black red fish and she was very happy. My mother had the bowl of the chowder shell and said it was very tasteful. My uncle had ordered the supposed scallops and he was slightly disappointed as he says they don't have much taste at all, but the service created more than that. We're definitely going back!
We loved going to the Cotton Exchange for lunch! We had a party of 10, so we were the first to wait in front of the restaurant at 10:35 to make sure we get a table at 11:00 when they opened! It was a perfect place to take lunch right in front of our river boat sightseeing cruise on board 12:30! The food was delicious!!
Excellent food and great atmosphere. All we ordered was fantastic. The crab dive, world-famous reubs with potato salad and salmon club. It was perfect.
We had an amazing dinner at The Cotton Exchange Tavern! I got the 2 combination fried platter with shrimp and oysters, french fries and coleslaw. My hubby got the crab stuffed flounder with steamed broccoli and rice. We definitely cleared our plates and were too stuffed for dessert. The waitress we had was impressive and on point with our drinks and meal. We spent less than an hour here and service was outstanding! The bathrooms were clean and had plenty of products! I would highly recommend The Cotton Exchange Tavern if you are in the Savannah area!
