Laguna Mexican Restaurant Bar - Clayton

Sauceless, flavorless, spiceless, almost cheese-free (other than tiny amount of shredded from a bag) Mexican food. Seriously! Chips from a bag with smooth flavorless spiceless salsa. Quesadillas raw not even warm or toasted with no sauce. No peppers habanero or otherwise. Salad with flavorless shrimp no dressing. Not recommended.

Re heated, a bit greasy and maybe a bit burnt grease tasting to me anyways. Kim thought they were good. We ordered the Molcajete which is an outstanding yummy dish in Mexico. News flash, your not in Mexico, or even anywhere near the boarder with this dish. HARD PASS! Not worth another visit, ok maybe for another Jalapeño Margarita, hold the ice on the side! I was disappointed, was supposed to be a Birthday celebration weekend for me, I could have made a better Mexican dish at hime and an awesome jalapeño Margarita, shame on these businesses for not providing the best ethnic foods the can serve especially where the staff seemed to be Mexican! We loved this place when it was Clark's and we love it as Laguna. We spent a beautiful, breezy day on the roof top. Great food and great music.I opted for the Huaraches and my wife had Street Taco's.Be sure to ask for their hot sauce. It is absolutely amazing!The service was great. A rare thing these days. The food was delicious. We're not often in Clayton but we'll be back to Laguna's!

Beautiful view upstairs but no fans or anything to help with bugs (sweat bees everywhere), that would have been bearable if the food was good. It was bland, needed salt and flavoring. For $65 for lunch I want to enjoy it. I wouldn't recommend. It's a location with great potential but changes need to be made.

While my family I really enjoyed the fantastic views from their 3rd floor rooftop, all 5 of us were very disappointed with the poor quality of their foods the terrible quality of their alcoholic drinks. Our assorted flavored margaritas and my strawberry daiquiri were all very watered down and bland. The process they used to make the mixed drinks caused the drinks to become so watered down that they were almost not drinkable. My flautas were overcooked boring. The salsa was so so. The service was incredibly slow throughout our meal (including the time we had to wait to even have our orders taken and how long it took the food to arrive). We had to ask repeatedly for extra chips. Despite those amazing views from their rooftop, I would discourage anyone from coming here.
