La Cocina - Clayton

My new go-to spot for Mexican cuisine! The food is simply delicious, and the service is both excellent and friendly. I tried the Caldo De Camaron (a simple shrimp soup), and I was amazed by the generous amount of shrimp it contained. I can’t wait to return for more! The service here was one of the best experiences I've had at a restaurant since the pandemic, making it incredibly refreshing. La Cocina definitely deserves a strong five out of five!

I recently visited a new restaurant that was impressively clean. I tried the Burro a la Roque, and it had a fantastic flavor. The salsa had a nice spicy kick to it as well.

We noticed a constant flow of cars, so we figured this must be a great place to eat—and we were right! The food was excellent, and our waitress, Vanessa, provided fantastic service. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and everything was very clean and well-organized. We're definitely going to make this our new go-to spot!

DANGER! ♪ During our last visit to La Cocina Clayton, my wife and I were taken out how we have done many times before. There were no problems with their ACC or the order of Guacamole. My order of the Chiles poblanos but came with an evil surprise inside. A very sharp wood carving that caused a pretty nasty cut in my mouth. Not ideal. I sent an e-mail later this day via their website, but received no answer. I sent another email a week later. No answer. And one last email in the following week. I have never received an answer, and I forgot until I went through my revenue and saw the entrance from that visit. I called today and asked to talk to a manager. I was stopped and then had a conversation with a gentleman who had nothing else to say than that sometimes happened in terms of wood scrap, and that they usually remove. In addition, he refused to do something to keep us as a customer because, as he repeated, it happened in February and if you contacted us at that time, I remembered him that I did it several times. He then fell into a repetition loop where it was essentially my fault because no one came back to me by email. It is a shame because the food was usually quite good and we often went there. I do not know that there is a lack of concern or willingness to stick to what was clearly their negligence. I saved the receipt and several pictures of the wood carvings to show him when it must be, but he seemed uninterested to do the right thing of a long-term customer. Please be careful when you feed there. If you have a problem, you can be treated as I was. BEWARE.

The service here was extremely fast, ordered an appetizer thinking the food would take some time to come out as the place was quite packed...and yea, it came out with the food. The food was tasty, besides the ACP cheese being kinda soupy. The waitress staff were nice.
