J-top's Bbq Shop - Clayton

I attended a wedding at Gregory Vineyard in Angier yesterday and j top s barbecue catered the event. The staff and owner were friendly and efficient. The food was outstanding: pork barbecue, smoked chicken.Green beans, coleslaw, boiled potatoes and Mac and cheese all fulll of flavor. The barbecue and chicken were both moist and tender.

My husband frequently works in this area so we met up for lunch here one day and I hadn't really looked into it prior, I just love bbq LOL. My husband ordered chopped BBQ, as did i, but I got green beans and collards, and he got Mac and cheese and fried okra. We both got hush puppies as well. Hush puppies are 8/10 very good. Bbq is excellent. The sides were all good honestly. No complaints, but the thing I LOVED MOST was.... My husbands fried okra. I ate most of of because he got dispatched out to some nearby call, and the okra was THERE. Definitely no disappointments here, will return.

We used JTOPs for our daughters wedding. To say the food and service was JTOP shelf is a gross understatement. John and his crew truly outdid themselves with the food quality, the way they catered to the bride and groom, and the attentiveness to the guest. Imagine a red carpet dining experience with a JoCo feel. We recommend them wholeheartedly and hope they continue to serve the community with the same love and care they showed us! Thank you so much John, and crew!!

The staff is always very friendly and willing to help you. The food is delicious and is always fresh and hot. They have the best chicken and BBQ around. Hands down!

Food was good, the fried foods were a little salty, but not so much you couldn't eat it. I will order again, the chicken and brisket were extra great
