Hot Box Cookies - Clayton

I placed an online delivery order and received confirmation for my payment, with the assurance that my food would arrive within an hour. However, just 20 minutes later, my order was unexpectedly canceled, accompanied by an email stating that I could expect a refund within 3 to 4 business days. I'm quite confused about why my order was canceled, especially since I had placed it five hours before closing time. I even called the restaurant three times to inquire about the cancellation, but received no response. If I don’t receive my refund, I feel this establishment should be scrutinized for potentially scamming customers who make online payments.

Update June 2022: This place is still terrible. The cookies, service, attitude—everything is just bad. Where is my refund? I never received any cookies, and you have $28.23 of my money. What a scam!

Update: I reached out to their marketing team, and they assured me that I would receive a refund. However, I haven't seen it yet—very disappointing. I ordered a gift pack that included a dozen cookies, two milks, and a balloon for a birthday gift. I instructed the delivery person to leave it on the back porch since the recipient wasn’t home at the time. Unfortunately, the driver didn’t respond and left it on the front porch instead. To make matters worse, they forgot to deliver the two milks. I've called the store twice to request a $7 refund for the missing milks, but I still haven't received it. My recommendation is to order from a different location.

I ordered 12 cookies to be delivered on 05/03/2022 I placed my order at 8:59 their apps says my order will be delivered at 9:58 but my cookies never arrived the store never answers the phone and the customer service sucks I?ve been ordering from thislocation for over a year and it?s been a constant headache please stay away from this place they randomly cancel orders anddeliveries never arrive employees don?t communicate with the customers and delivery drivers never show up for work. I?ll beordering from insomnia cookie from now on

As a regular customer of Hot Box Cookies, I enjoy their products. Me and my girlfriend stop by this location in Clayton on a humbug. Little to our delight, we had to wait on the cookies to be cooked (that sometimes happens), and a gentleman serving wasabrupt and curt. Unless you're in the mood for cookies and passive aggression treatment skip this Hot Box and try another one.
