What TomB doesn't like about Groveside Bistro:
Disappointing! We had heard wonderful things about this restaurant, so we decided to give it a try. The portion of stroganoff was small, consisting mostly of noodles with just a bit of meat, and it lacked flavor. The paella with prawns was also underwhelming; while the prawns were delicious, the rice was dry and bland. On the positive side, the atmosphere was charming, and the staff were attentive. What a gem, the best food I’ve had in a long time! The strawberry salad was just perfect, I literally consider to go back tomorrow and eat it again. I‘m not a person who usually gets excited about salad but this was outstanding. My wife had the Hunter‘s Chicken which was also insanely good. Nice staff and it felt very welcoming inside. Some more outdoor seats would be nice, but the space there is obviously limited.
What a wonderful Mother 's Day brunch we had. A prix fixe menu on one of the busiest restaurant days of the year and it was wonderful. The three starter courses were served quickly as they warned us a slight wait for our mains, but really the wait was not long at all. The mimosas were flowing, the food was fantastic (I had the steak with béarnaise and smashed potatoes w/ eggs--amazing), and we are going to return to try a regular menu day as I am curious what other yummy goodies we can enjoy. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, even though it was very busy. It is not a very big space, but they utilize it well. We ate inside, but there is outside seating as well. We are definitely visiting again.

It's a small town environment so everyone is very sweet even to the little ones feel welcomeParking: Depending on the day and time you come, there is so much parking or it is really hard to find parking, but always free to park

We visited for the first time when they were doing a St. Patrick’s theme. We had corned beef, potato leek soup, and beef stew. Everything was delicious! Service was attentive and friendly, and we even met the chef. we will be back!
