I've been trying to visit this restaurant for two months, and I can honestly say it was worth the wait. As enthusiasts of Korean cuisine, we traveled over 60 miles to dine at one of our favorite spots. Now, we've found a new go-to restaurant right here in Clarksville! The place is impeccably clean, and the staff treats you like a cherished family member. My soup was packed with fresh seafood and had the perfect level... View all feedback.
What L B doesn't like about Golae Korean Bbq Sushi:
...80 bucks worth of food. I kind of feel robbed but at least the presentation was nice...minus the gnats flying around us. Was expecting hotpot/kbbq. Not this. Oh well. Anyways, ive had way better bulgolgi elsewhere but it wasnt awful, one of my sashimi tasted funny but it's whatever. It's well lit in the restaurant and the server was nice. Would I come back again? No.
I didn’t even get seated. The woman at the restaurant treated me as if I were a huge inconvenience for arriving at 5:29 PM instead of 5:30 PM. They could have simply kept the open sign off and locked the door, but instead, she could have offered me a drink while preparing the grill or whatever. I felt looked down upon. I was just hoping for something other than pizza or bar food while visiting the hospital, and I ended up having to drive further down the road anyway.
I was craving cold noodle soup, and after trying three different restaurants, this was the only one that offered it. It was delicious and just what I needed on a day when the temperature exceeded 100°. Food: 5/5.
To make matters worse, I had never encountered sushi that included hot dog slices as a standard ingredient. The presentation was poor as well; the sushi fell apart when I tried to pick it up. As for the rest of the meal, the beef was bland, and everything else lacked flavor. Some items, like the kimchi, seemed to be pre-made. Additionally, my ginger ale was served straight from the can, which was unappetizing and had a dirty top covered in dried soda residue. Throughout my visit, no one came by to check on me, so I ended up getting up to pay at the front. The place was not busy at all—there was just a small family dining nearby. On top of that, they do not offer military discounts, which added to my disappointment considering the $20 I spent. Overall, a letdown of an experience.
Very authentic Korean food experience.. it’s like being in a Korean restaurant in NY koreatown. Great happy atmosphere : get the short ribs.. can’t go wrong. Also the nengmyun is so good too.Food: 5/5
Went here for the first time and absolutely enjoyed my food. Loved the bulgogi boxed accompanied with some crab rolls. Will definitely come back some time soon.Food: 5/5
