Uncle Peters Pasties - Clarkston

My wife, Candi, and I traveled to Highland yesterday (4/27/2020) and picked up a few items. After shopping, we went home and made four batches of bark paste and one.

On April 21, 2022, we ordered three burgers - two regular and one with extra meat - all with a side of baked potatoes. Unfortunately, even though we followed the cooking instructions, they did not turn out as expected.

This is a fantastic spot for quick and convenient dining! The food is all homemade and delicious. The owners are wonderful and really make sure their customers are well taken care of. Make sure to stop by and give it a try!

I typically enjoy supporting local businesses, but unfortunately, my experience with these particular ones was not very good. I ordered two beef pasties, which were filled with a heavy amount of onion and potato, but lacked in beef. The dominating taste was overwhelming onion, leaving me disappointed. Despite seeing positive pictures of others' meals, my pasties did not meet my expectations. At a price of ten dollars each, I found them to be a bit steep, especially when compared to the delicious pasties I had in St. Ignace for six dollars. Although some people seem to enjoy these pasties, my two experiences were not satisfying enough to warrant a return visit, given the high cost.

We're new to the state and figured we'd stop here after driving by a couple times. The staff is really friendly and the pasties are great! Try the apple or pepper jack beef it's really good. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
