I am giving 3 stars for the service, which is great! However, the food quality has declined. I have been a customer at Shorty's since the 80s and was looking forward to their burritos, rice, and beans today. The burrito was different than before, with a strong taste of red chile and being on the salty side. The beans were good, but the rice was undercooked and not as flavorful as it used to be. Nice neighborhood hangout. I had a chicken taco and enchilada. Both items were great. Nice service.
