What Lynn F doesn't like about Denise Mexican Grill:
The restaurant seems to be closed or under renovation once again. I noticed yesterday that the windows were boarded up as I passed by. There is no visible sign indicating whether the restaurant is still open for business. This is the second time I am posting about this, as the business owner had my previous update removed. I recently had a burrito at this restaurant and I was extremely disappointed. The woman who took my order was very impolite. They had a very limited selection of ingredients, no queso or guacamole. The refried beans were flavorless and seemed old. This place is not worth the money. I will definitely not be returning. I suggest they close down and open a Chipotle instead.
It was deliciousness!!! The birria tacos were phenomenal! We stopped here on a road trip, randomly but it was well worth the time and effort. The decor is not GREAT, which is why it lost a star, butttttt the food makes up for it! The tamarindo drink was perfect and my daughter had the wings which were seasoned to perfection. VERY much so worth the visit.
It was very good food. It’s like those places were u pass by and don’t try but I think it’s worth it and you should. We had steak and chicken tacos which were very good. Everything was made fresh. I ordered an horchata and it was very good. The staff were very friendly too! 10/10 would recommend.
I pass this place all the time to work and finally decided to stop in to get breakfast. The people there are super friendly. I got the veggie omelet with home fries and toast and it wasn't that bad. If you're looking for a home cooked meal, this is yourplace. If you're expecting a more fine dinning or iHop grade restaurant, this place unfortunately does not check out. The reasonwhy I knocked 2 stars was because my table was a little sticky and the chairs looked a little worn. The final reason is becausethe portions were small and I was served cheap plastic utensils. Overall, a good place to stop by once in a while.
Been passing this place for years now and finally decided to stop and try it. We were really excited! I called in my order to be picked up, everything was great. I ordered the Super Nachos and the Cheeseburger Sub. What I got were not-super-at-all nachosand a very sad cheeseburger with stale, hard, overly salted fries. The nachos alone were covered with what tastes like 7-11nacho cheese from a machine but worse, and I?m not even sure what the salsa mix was and what on earth they did to the chickenthat went on it. Neither of our meals were edible or what we were expecting, and this was a pretty big waste of $16 in food. Idid get a Tiramisu from the cooler and it tastes okay, but I question if it was actually made by this establishment. Flavormakes me think it was a pre-made frozen cake. No offense if it wasn?t, it just doesn?t taste like any fresh-made Tiramisu I?veever had. Maybe I just came at a bad time? But?there was nothing redeeming about any of the food I got. Try at your own risk, Iwon?t come back personally.
