No decaf, no ice and a very small glass of tepid tap water was given. Nice outside patio but that is all that was good. Hard 'overeasy' eggs like a rock. Greasy fatty bacon. Barely warm toast. Really a horrid place and the staff were not the friendliest with no service.

The bun is a very fresh, hefty size and its filled with a big mound of melt in your mouth beef as well as a very tasty mild cheese and all this for under $7!. The only minor letdown was that the dip was not an au jus but a gravy, but it was delicious anyway and an amazing value!The best part is the selection of grass-fed beef at nearly 50% the supermarket price for poor supermarket-grade meat! You would expect to pay much more for grass-fed than the junk that's available in the supers so to find it here so much cheaper is nothing short of incredible. I'm going to stock up on meat every time I'm heading through Claresholm on the way home!

I had the choice of adding onions and peppers or German sauerkraut. I chose the sauerkraut. It was the best!It is served hot on the bun as it has been stewed with some spices and onions. Very unique and tasty. My husband had the cheese burger. All the patties are made on site from grass fed beef that was raised with no antibiotics or hormones. They must be using a local bakery as the buns were so fresh. My husband had a choice of 3 different types of buns for his burger. Our lunch was very affordable..approximately $13 for the two of us. We decided to add on one side of potato salad to share. Very unique and tasty. I had read on the reviews from some of the Day Trippers that they wished they had brought a cooler to take some of the frozen packaged sausages and burger patties home.We packed a cooler and purchased 3 different sausage types and one package of the hamburger patties.

All breakie items ordered were great. Homemade, very fresh and outstanding bacon and sausage without fillers and hormones. You can also get frozen bacon, steaks, sausage and some raised game. The owner / butcher was very good at describing his meats and the way they are raised, hung, cut, prepared and wrapped.

Clean facilities and attentive staff. We had the Chorizo Burger and Texas Beef on a Bun and both were incredibly flavourful and perfectly spiced.<br/ <br/ If you are in a hurry, you might want to try one of the nearby fast food restaurants, as the quality meals they produced here take time, however for those who are patient well worth the 10-15 minute cooking wait.
