Jungle Jims - Clarenville

We stopped into Jungle Jim's in Clarenville on our way across the province for lunch. We spent a total of almost 2 hours in the restaurant between waiting for our meal and eating. The server was not very helpful and rarely checked on us. My food was cold and not tasty at all (Beef Tacos). The restaurant seemed to be understaffed and the servers weren't prepared. I would not recommend to anyone to eat at this location. My stomach is still turning from the food.

Not as good as other Jungle Jims in Newfoundland: the floor could have been cleaner and the service faster. The meat was of a slightly lower level than expected

My family and I love Jungle Jims and have eaten at several locations across the island. During a recent visit to Clarenville, my children asked to eat at Jungle Jims, so we decided to go.What a disappointment! First, the restaurant was freezing cold (air conditioning running on bust when it was only about 19 degrees Celsius outside). Our sever brought us menus and then took about 15 minutes to come back and take our order despite the fact that there were only about 3 other tables occupied (many other servers around). We requested the baby's food to be brought asap so that he wouldn't scream and cry and she didn't bring it out until the rest of our food was served...which took 25 minutes to arrive. When I questioned her about this, she said she forgot. Our food was luke warm at best and my meal was incredibly salty (I had the steak and cheese sandwich). Our server did not come to check up on us.We will not be returning to this location and I do not recommend it to anyone.

Dropped by just for a plate of nachos and fried. The restaurant was so cold, I had to go back out to my car and wear my coat during my meal. The nachos were good, but the fries were terrible. There were about 4 fries on top of the basket that were okay, the rest were bits from the bottom of the chip fryer. I complained about the fries and the waitress took them off our bill, which was very good of her to do. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Always love going there on Wednesday night the appetizer menu is cheap and suer fast and fresh. Servers are amazing as well
