What Kristin doesn't like about Terra:
Beautiful place, but I have to say that I have had a $10 steak that tasted better than the garbage they gave me. At $30 for a 4oz steak, it should melt in your mouth, not be rimmed with cartilage and spit back out. We went here for a friend birthday and we had to pay to bring in our own birthday cake for her! Hands down some of the best food and cocktails in the Columbia/West Columbia area. I have frequented Terra since they opened for either a nice happy hour, dinner with friends before theater or concerts and especially date night. The food has been consistently amazing over the years and the cocktails are creative with excellent combinations of seasonal fruits or just really excellent high end liquor. My definite “go to” when I’m looking for a fine dining night out!
Fantastic meal. The flounder was fantastic, not overly “swimming” in breading, but bathed in a perfect sear. The pork chop was again perfect. Moist and tender, accompanied by a wonderful squash casserole. Steak like butta, and the blue cheese was a perfect accompaniment. Makers Mark vanilla ice cream.....Have Mercy! What an awesome meal in our hometown!
