Grew up going here every Sunday after church. Love the menu update and renovations- perfectly preserves the character and spirit with tasteful updates and an emphasis on local products and dishes. Makes me so happy to see my neighborhood spot all grown up View all feedback.
What Pamela R doesn't like about Post House:
Lovely restaurant, beautiful decor and relaxing outdoor patio. Drink variety was creative and tasty. However the dinner was a huge disappointment. The salad was blah, flat Lettuce and nothing interesting. The steak and potatoes were inedible. Dry hard baby potatoes served with rubbery tasteless steak. Very disappointing. The cheesecake dessert was good. View all feedback.
We ate at the restaurant but did not stay at the inn. The oysters were very good, and the coffee cake and Backbar cheeseburger are highly recommended. We had a wonderful time and the staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions!

The manager Shiree was very attentive to all her allergens and worked with the kitchen to prepare her a delicious and safe veggie and fruit bowl. Alex was a fantastic, friendly server as well. My wife and I had tasty cocktails and split delicious sandwiches. We were full for the rest of the day. Thank … – show
Very nice atmosphere. Fantastic meal! This is a historic home that has been turned into a beautiful restaurant. I had the most wonderful time, and the atmosphere is just perfect. Charleston is such a special place, and this historic landmark is a real treat to visit.

This inn and restaurant are definitely worth a visit. The service is fist class, friendly and efficient, from a staff that wants to be sure every moment of your time here is pleasurable. There are seven charming rooms and a fabulous restaurant. We started with drinks at the bar and a very tasty order of house-smoked fish spread. The bar tender was a real pro. We were seated at a spacious table and offered some complimentary bubbles as we were celebrating our anniversary. The local cobia crudo … – show
