Peddler Steak House - Clarendon County

I gave it a 4 because when we chose this place as a group the prices online were within our budget However when we arrived and saw the menu the prices where higher. I understand the change in the economy but please update your website for those that are traveling out town. We like consistency. Everything else was Great.

Steakhouse with charcoal cooked steaks. Salad bar was execellent, self-serve. Steaks were good, although service was very slow. Steak had too much fat remaining, wasn't trimmed properly before cooking. shrimp and potatoes were average, if underseasoned.

I title this review: NOT WORTH THE PRICE AT ALL!!!! My group of 12 just finished a race event and really wanted to enjoy our time in SC with a meal before we would packed up and leave the next morning. I will share, I appreciate the fact they did make room for us while other restaurants had 1:30 hour wait times, reason they got the 2 stars instead of one. It's a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. The only thing better than the service was the food. Will return.

Very exclusive restaurant. Quite atmosphere. Very romantic place to take your date. Fine wines and premium steaks.
