Olde House Cafe - Clarendon County

Already wrote a review. Cold food. Slow service. Wasn't very busy. They were the very best at one time.

Friendly staff great environment. Southern hospitality. Priced reasonably for an amazing home style meal.

We made a quick decision to try this mom and pop restaurant as we were traveling back home. Boy do we regret it. It's not your typical mom and pop. There was a buffet which we passed on. The paper menus were nasty and looked like they were printed when the place first opened. That's not a deal breaker tho. The chicken salad in my sandwich had gone bad. And then the waitress questioned me about it. Everything is a la carte. No fries with the $6 burger. No lettuce or tomato on the sandwiches. No c … – show

Somehow we became invisible We waited over an hour after order was taken. Food was ice cold then we were shunned because we had to sit there after closing time. We were nice and did not complain at all. This was once a great place to eat and they were not that busy.

The food was very good, down home flavor, the staff members were very friendly. The only draw back was the service fee for using my debt card, but that is business in today's economy.
