King Street Grille - Clarendon County

This place was horrible! Never been here before, went in and sat down. The host, if you can call him that, told us he'd make sure we got menus. We never did. We got up and went over to a waitress who was speaking to the host, and we're completely ignored. We stood there and stood there and waited for them to acknowledge us. Excellent lunch- loved being able to sit outside. We shared the eggroll mac cheese appetizer and the turkey melt on a pretzel bun. Everything tasted great. Portions were generous great service by Kayla. Not sure why there are so many less than great reviews. Maybe the overall expectations from the type of people that frequent this area is higher than the rest of us? It is definitely located in an area that is upscale. Decent bar food. It was what I expected it to be! Edit: I think the kitchen has improved. The servers are all very competent and friendly!

Nothing particularly good or terribly egregious, though the waffle fries were overly salty. Just average.
