Common Ground - Clarendon County

My daughter brought me to this lovely place on a Wednesday morning in early March. I noticed a few people sitting out on the patio, enjoying the waterfront, but it was a little cool for us so we went inside. We missed the breakfast rush and I was so happy to see that they open at 8:30 in the morning. I still haven't found a nice place to drink my coffee at 7am in Beaufort, but I wouldn't mind waiting for this place to open. Stopped in on New Years Day during a visit to Beaufort and the staff was charming and friendly. Also very knowledgeable about their coffee. I was surprised to be asked if by Latte Macchiato I wanted a traditional one. Then it was nice to see the more experienced barista patiently explain to the person who took our order how to make a traditional Macchiato. The end result was perfect!! Common Ground is a beautiful establishment located close to the water front. We ordered two cold brew’s and some delicious food! The cold brew was absolutely delicious! We highly recommend this establishment! Beautiful view, friendly staff, and very delicious sandwiches!

Great place to enjoy the morning along the water. Delicious biscuits.
