What Kyle L doesn't like about Carmen Y Juan:
Mediocre food (probably the most “generic Mexican” that I’ve ever had), poor service, and hot dining room with no A/C on a Friday evening in the summer. Almost $60 for two adults and a child to have a low-quality dinner, half of which was not eaten. I felt robbed after waking out of this restaurant and will not be returning. View all feedback.
Good food. Get the queso dip with the chips! Ask for your margarita to be shaken!

Amazing Mexican food! Loved the Mr. Nachos and street tacos. The rare great option for delivery in Mount Pleasant.
This is probably THE best Mexican food on the East Coast. Still not as good as California, but pretty darn close. The salsa is addictive. And the margaritas are very good. Small place, comfortable atmosphere. And Carmen Juan are really great people. Go have a margarita here! You won’t regret it!!
I absolutely love this place. Everyone that works there seem genuinely kind, and friendly. The food is pretty great. Less Americanized than most places in SC, which is fantastic.
