You haven't been here for many months, but this morning you've enjoyed breakfast. Warm reception of Jess, coffee was excellent and the breakfast Burger was the best I had eaten. An ingenious way to start the day.
Had lunch at Hurricane Cafe today and really enjoyed it.. The food was very nice, service excellent and they serve the best coffee in the whole of Hobart. And so good that you can get all day breakfast. We'll be making a return visit very...soon.
Visited Hurricane Cafe with friends today expecting same high standard service of 6 months ago. Wow, has the food deteriorated, eggs over cooked , undersize, the sough bread toast needed , a chisel to cut.Bacon overcooked. Coffee great, but no longer providing the little Jaffa ,which was...nice!,advised that customers left so they cut them out, as they did not like waste. Need to lift you’re service or people will not return.
Had heard amazing reviews from friends so to be fair I went in with fairly high standards. Walked in please wait to be seated sign. Staff member acknowledged us two minutes later (there were 2 at till processing order) and we waited about another 3...minutes to be seated. Which is definitely fair if another group hadn 't walked themselves in, sat down and begun to be served by someone else while we were 'abiding ' by their rules. It was Saturday lunchtime and not very busy yet the staff member seemed frustrated by the fact she 'd have to re arrange their seating for a table for two (there were 3 other empty tables for two when we arrived) Handed menus and waited a normal amount of time to be served. Drinks came out hot chocolate tasted like warm milk, coffee was decent. We ordered a two sandwiches and a bowl of chips sandwiches came but chips never did, nobody was around to chase it up with so we just left that. Food was average nothing to write home about, avocado was a bit overpowered by the lemon. When it came to paying we mentioned we weren 't happy with one of the drinks and that part of the order hadn 't arrived. Were told oh sorry nonchalantly by the staff member who didn 't seem to care or be sorry in the slightest am aware that that 's subjective by me and the person I was with. Overall food okay, drinks meh, service left a little to be desired.
Went to football at Bellerive oval recently cafe you could tell straight away had changed hands. Food listed on an A4 piece of paper 5 things on it nothing healthy for sure. Last time there were salads available with smoked salmon. Ordered a wine came...in a plastic glass was a cheap wine at that last time came in a proper glass. Beers on display in fridge oh no can't have those full alcohol ones well why are they on display then. Sat on tables another customer was eating fish and chips from there said was nice but cold obviously predone and just reheated. Tacky experience might as well join the queue at the foodstalls outside the arena with zero atmosphere.
