A night out with the girls isn't complete without dessert, right? Murphy Brown was the perfect spot for us. I arrived first out of our group of four and snagged a four-top menu. We ended up moving from the main table to a cozy corner table, where my friend delighted in two delicious wing dishes. I treated myself to a double treat with a pint of Guinness and a slice of cake. What Mishuana Goeman doesn't like about Murphy Brown's Craft Beer Empourium:
Bartender was very rude, served everyone around us, then we decided to just get beer for takeout. Cashed out and he interrogated us should have just asked for an id if that was the cause of not serving us. Instead the passive aggressive behavior was out of line. Plus hours are odd. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 View all feedback.

The food was delicious and well-prepared. Our burgers arrived without any condiments, either on the burgers or on the side; we had to request them. We also tried the air-fried wings, which were some of the best I’ve ever had! It’s important to note that guests need to order their food and drinks at the bar and choose their own seats. A staff member will bring the food to your table. The menu offers healthier takes on classic pub fare (no deep-fried items). They have a fantastic selection of beer and hard cider. The atmosphere is reminiscent of an adult coffee shop, perfect for socializing.
Overall a very good time with family! Service was good, bartender offered recommendations as needed from a big beer list.. Cool atmosphere with some leather couches in the back, and outdoor dining. Average to good bar food, nothing fancy. Crab dip tasted great but was oily on top. Good pretzels though Price per person: $20–30 Food: 3
I have mixed feelings about this place. It looks like a really nice craft beer bar, but my experience was frustrating. I have a severe wheat allergy and usually drink Labatt's Blue Light, which is a double barley and hops beer, so I know my way around good beers. However, this bar had an extensive list of craft beers, yet the bartender couldn’t provide any information about their ingredients and didn’t know which beers contained wheat. He was friendly, but kept insisting that all beers have gluten. I understand that, but wheat should not be in beer! The beer he suggested was decent, but unfortunately, I felt sick an hour after leaving. I won’t be going back. I enjoy exploring new places and trying new beers, but it’s just not worth the risk here. For anyone with dietary restrictions, I would advise against going—there are no salads or French fries, as everything is coated with gluten. I definitely wouldn’t eat here again.
