We came for an early morning breakfast, had the biggest pancakes I've ever seen.Yummy, also the BLT roll was very excellent as was the coffee. We just arrived from the Flinders Ranges and our cars were covered with mud and dust. The owner of the cafe warned us about the police targeting dirty number plates and then went out and washed our number plates for us. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Av-A-Chat Cafe:
The food is decent, but I find it to be a bit pricey for what you receive. On one occasion, I ordered a soup that was served cold after waiting for 45 minutes. The chicken yiros I had was bland and had an excessive amount of grilled onions, which didn't seem right. None of my friends were satisfied with their meals either, and we all paid between $13 and $16 each. I hope they are able to address these issues and wish... View all feedback.

I may consider giving them another try in a few months.

We ordered a takeaway from this cafe, but it looked really nice place to have lunch/meal or coffee. You could sit outside or in and they had a wide variety of takeaways as well as delicious looking slices etc.
Any other coffee shop will offer you a better coffee. Really the worst coffee of our trip so far. We had overpriced baguettes that were soft and doughy along with the terrible coffee, really go elsewhere.
This restaurant is a warm and inviting spot to relax, savor a delicious cup of coffee or two, and chat with friends. They offer tempting cakes and a wide selection of menu options for those with larger appetites. The café is located in a charming old building, but it is beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean. The staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable.
